Stamped and Decorative Concrete

Stamping concrete is one of the best ways to make the surface look unique. That being said, it is a procedure that has to be done right. The same can be said for virtually any procedure, the reason why we highlight this here though is because many people seem to think that stamping concrete or even decorating concrete is easy enough. You step on wet concrete and that’s all you have to do. In essence, yes, but you have to make sure that you go in deep enough, but you don’t over do it to make sure you end up with a natural-looking result.

We know that some people end up shying away from stamped concrete because they have this idea that they’ll only be able to pick between the heart stamp and the stars stamp. While there are certain stamps that we have and we’ve used on a number of occasions we can also create custom stamps for you. This works great in commercial concrete projects where companies want us to do their store or building front. We can put your company logo on the concrete. It can also work for residential uses as well. Especially if you already have a specific stamp in mind.
 
How Long Do Stamps In Concrete Last? 
 
Another thing that can push people away from stamped concrete is the idea that it won’t last long or it’ll fade and so the original stamp can be deformed over time. When the concrete is stamped properly the stamp can last a couple of decades without too much trouble. If you think that it’s fading away after a couple of years we can help restore it. The same thing goes for decorative concrete. If you think that the unique colors or designs within the concrete are fading we can always retouch them a bit.  
 
Decorative Concrete Can Literally Make The Surface Look Like Whatever You Like
 
When it comes to decorative concrete the simplest way for us to put it is just to say that we can make the surface look whoever you want it to look. You’re not going to be limited to making it look like a tile floor for example. We can also get the surface to feature all sorts of colors and designs. The answer is yes to both sides of the question. We’re going to be able to stamp an existing concrete surface by adding a layer of fresh concrete. When it comes to decorative concrete we could grind the concrete surface and then apply different colors or designs.
