Concrete Repair
Repairing concrete is something that can actually save you a ton of money if you do it right and on time. Concrete is known for its durability and a lot of companies when they set up tell you that you won’t have to worry about anything for 20 years. Sure, that time table is the one we’re all shooting for. The thing is, there are a bunch of things that can come up and cause some problems with the surface. If you allow those small issues to develop you’re going to find yourself having to pay for a much more costly renovation down the line. We can help you with repairs virtually at any level.
Concrete Inspection Not every single crack that you find in a concrete surface should be a major cause for concern. It’s a little bit like when you have a crack windshield. If you see that the crack is getting exponentially larger in a short amount of time you have a problem. We can drop by and provide inspections of your concrete surfaces to let you know what the best course of action is. Remember that not all repair projects are going to be the same. Can All Concrete Surfaces Be Repaired? That really depends on the actual problem that we find with the concrete slab. A lot of times the issue is not even that there are a ton of cracks on the surface. At times it’s just that the area has gotten a lot rougher than it used to be. In that case, we may be able to pour a new layer of concrete and just smoothen things out. Before we do this we’re most likely going to be grinding the concrete to make sure that we are able to smoothen things out. Then we can either add a new layer of concrete or add some type of epoxy finish. There are a lot of different options. How Often Should I Be Doing Something To My Concrete Surface? We tend to talk about the durability of concrete surfaces. That’s the main reason why it makes sense to invest a little more on the front end to create a surface that is not going to give you any trouble. In most situations, you won’t have to worry about the consistency of the concrete if you will, for years. If you have decorative concrete though, it could be a good idea to give the area a retouching every couple of years. To make sure that the look remains fresh. Concrete Slab Replacement If you have a crack that has essentially been filled up on multiple occasions yet it continues to form there is a chance that we need to go in and adjust the original terrain. We can provide full concrete slab replacements for you. What we’re going to be doing is cutting through the existing concrete slab and making sure that the original terrain is properly flattened out or filled. This is a process that we do constantly. You have nothing to worry about! |
